What are some great tv-series you’ve seen?  Here’s my top four.

  • Parks and Recreation

Easily my favourite. Watching the telemarathon episode as I type, and it’s my third time. Amy Poehler is inimitable, and the whole cast is perfect. Also, NO series finale will give you closure like Parks and rec. Leslie Knope for president!

  • Twin Peaks

THE classic tv-show. Eerie, twisted, beautifully shot and full of visual inspiration. I love every single scene with the big guy and the little guy.

  • Les Revenants

Les Revenants is like Twin Peaks’ little French sister. It’s not an investigation series (although did they investigate that much in Twin Peaks?), but it has that same sense of mystery.

  • Downton Abbey

IT’S A MILLION YEARS UNTIL NEXT SEASON AND IT’S THE LAST ONE AND I CAN’T

But seriously, watch Downton Abbey. It has exquisite costumes, a sweet, comforting story and both most painfully perfect and most charmingly awful spoken English.

 

Oh, I forgot. Culottes.

  • Parks and Recreation

    • I watched Lost religiously and was so disappointed with the ending! “It was all purgatory and now they’re in heaven” really? What about the polar bears and the airplanes and the immortal dudes? And I was strongly pro Kate+Sawyer lol
      How’d you feel about the ending?

        Lol…I was always pro Kate & Sawyer…he was absolutely delicious and Jack was always such a whiny drama queen. Another good question…why did Hurley never lose weight…he seemed to gain?? The ending? Utterly ridiculous and such a huge disappointment to end such an excellent show that way.

        • When he said he loved Kate while unconscious… A tough guy doing that is like my favourite romanic scenario since childhood haha. Watched this part several times. And I really hated that Jack cried in most unsexy way in every single episode lol.
          I believe they addressed Hurley’s weight issue in one of the episodes, he got all offended and defensive and they never brought that up again haha
          And yeah, that ending bruised me for life. I could never trust a tv show again lol

  • I’ve always wanted to watch Twin Peaks, but somehow still haven’t gotten around to it! My favourite TV show of all time will always be Friends, can’t beat it.
    Beautifully styled outfit too, love the culottes.

    I have not seen the first 3 shows, but have watched Downton Abby. I binged watched the first 2 seasons to catch up, but it’s a fabulous show! These red culottes are amazing. The color is beautiful and I love the midi length of them. Great look on you.

    I’ve never ever worn culottes and have no idea why – these are lovely!
    Downton Abbey is a must watch for me – the Dowager Countess is just such a fantastic character with some of the best lines ever on tv! (and just to reassure you, most of us english people don’t really speak like that!)

    • I like to think the queen does speak like that at all times haha. It’s been a century anyway 🙂 I only know two english people personally, and they’re both in their seventies so…
      And yes, Maggie Smith is amazing 🙂

    I love the red and grey outfit, it looks great, sort of casual but still stylish at the same time. Gorge! I’m definitely a big fan of Downton, I also love Once Upon a Time, Big Bang Theory and of course, Game of Thrones.
