Early Autumn Favourites

Early Autumn Favouritesfeatured

I’ve been challenging myself to take more photos and up my editing game. Frankly, styling my favourite things into pretty arrangements wasn’t that much of a burden. How did I do?

1. Mustard

I’m not big on the condiment, but I always fall back in love with the colour as it gets colder. Having a lot of fun styling this shirt with leather, suede and warm tones.

Bought this beautiful tray in this little concept store in Amsterdam. Look at the detailed leaf structure!

3. My Instagram theme

So I’m obsessed with consistent Instagram themes. The thing is, you know how indecisive I can be when it comes to personal style. Right now I stick to a certain theme for a couple of weeks and then move on to something different. Moscow is flaming with colourful autumn leaves, so I’m making use of warm-toned backgrounds. Check it out! Do you stick to an Instagram theme?

4. Naked Basics palette

Beautifully simple palette for every day. Comes in a plastic case, which is huge improvement on the first flimsy cardboard Naked.

They’re adorable. ADMIT IT! YOU BASIC.

6. Big hair

I got my hair done by the magicians that are Domenico Castello hair stylists. They used the new Lee Stafford Chopstick wand and the results… Blew. My. Mind. Check out my brain glitch here.

  • Big curly hair is definitely my favorite <3

    • If only I could recreate it at home!

  • The leaf jewelry tray is so pretty!

    • I regret not buying it in every size and colour haha

  • Love your hair! I also love how you styled Mustard. I’ve never been a huge fan of yellow, but your post brought it out in a lovely way with fall tones!

    • Thank you! I used to wear exclusively total black when I was a teenager, can’t get enough of colours ever since I gave in 😀

  • Margot Potter

Mustard, both kinds, love. Great post!

    • I’m just getting into the condiment, but the colour has been a favourite for years 🙂

  • Congrats on being featured! My face is right up there with you so I felt like I should come by and say hi! Btw that mustard top is gorgeous.. did you take the photo yourself? Good job on the photographer and of course the stylist =)

Such a great post. You look great in the color mustard! It can be a hard color to pull off, but it looks great next to your dark hair. Your instagram photos are gorgeous. I love the warm theme you have going on right now. Is it hard for you to stick to one tone?

    • Thank you 🙂 It is hard to stick to a theme, I often have to go through all of my camera roll in search of something to post. But it is the challenge that makes it fun, right? You can actually see some photos where I screwed up a little bit throughout my feed, it’s a constant process 🙂

  • Natasha Karpova

  • Mustard is definitely perfect for autumn! (I also love the skirt you’re wearing in that picture!) One of my favourites are pumkins, because they are super delicious and also great for decoration.

    • I’m just discovering pumpkin now, for some reason we’re not big on it here in Russia. Turns out it is actually delicious 🙂 And btw, I just posted the full look with the skirt 🙂

  • Yes to the new Starbucks cups! I love the mustard color for fall! That blouse is gorgeous!
