After shopping presents for men in your life, it’s time for the most exciting part – gifts for girls! Also, the cover of this post is a sneak peek of an upcoming party outfit post.
A snuggly sweater is always a welcome addition to a girl’s winter wardrobe. Many will be escaping to warmer places, and who will be the thoughtful friend that sorts out their bikini needs (top and bottom)? You, yes, you, my little pal. There are two kinds of girls in this world: those who say they’d die for a Chanel Boy and liars. If you’re rolling in dough, please make a girl happy with one. But if you’re searching for something more budget-friendly, here’s a pretty dupe from Forever 21. A quirky piece of jewellery, a fluffy key charm or a cute pair of socks (they say meow or never!) are all great stocking-stuffers. And these delightful pom-pom heels are my favourite thing ever, you can see me wearing them for my birthday here and for a blogger event here.
A fun make up bag is always useful. Here are two of my favourite affordable lipsticks: Maybelline Color Sensational and H&M Beauty. Other nice little trinkets you could fill the pretty bag with or give on their own are a sparkly eyeshadow or a festive nailpolish. Here’s a bigger treat – Benefit Hoola set with this little useful contouring brush and an array of exciting products. In case you didn’t know, Hoola is a universally flattering contouring shade. I scrolled through a person’s Instagram page with a shop assistant to pick out a lipstick to give before, anyone else? At the end of the day, she’ll have t0 take that make up off, and this oil melt works perfectly. This gold Wet brush is the exact one I recently purchased for myself after reading unimaginably good reviews. We’ll see about the long-term results, but it sure is pretty! And gentle. And if you know someone who dreams about wild curls, Chopstick styler is responsible for THIS on my very straight hair.
H&M home has so much cool stuff, just when I bought the grey version of this pillow, they come out with a white one, and it’s even prettier. For all of my fellow Parcs and Rec fans, the motivational print to rule them all! This minty and sweet candle is my new favourite winter scent. A new day planner is a thoughtful present for the beginning of the year and a cute pen is a perfect addition. I’d advise against giving a high-maintenance plant, but a little one that needs to get watered rarely would survive in the most careless hands. And this mug? Imagine drinking coffee from it in a crowded office or at breakfast with the extended family.
