Imagine this: an old factory building, rusting pipes, sound of dripping water, cracking windows and dust everywhere, wind blowing through the corridors slamming doors. A small room crammed with concert sound equipment, disco balls and wires. Formed a picture? Here are the photos. Natasha and I built an improvised studio right in the middle of the aforementioned windy corridor to shoot some party looks. This is my casual holiday outfit featuring my favourite thigh-high boots. I’m sure next time we’ll give more justice to the eerie location. Did you know that throwing confetti and maintaining a straight face are two actions human body cannot perform at the same time?

Your photos are fabulous! I can see why throwing confetti would make it hard to keep a straight face – lol – it’s just too fun! Love your outfit – and your necklace is fab!

  • What a cool shoot! And your causal holiday outfit looks so fab. Where do you get that fabulous confetti and gold backdrop for the shoot?!

    – Liz @ Downtown Demure

    • Thank you, Liz ๐Ÿ™‚ Everything’s from a nearby grocery shop, the backdrop is just these pieces of shiny paper cut into strips. I don’t know what they’re called, but it’s a favourite decoration for many in Russia. I’m generally not a big fan, but it reflects light beautifully and serves as a perfect festive background.
