Two Hairstyles with Hair Extensionsfeatured
I recently procrastinated by reading something named “100 problems only girls with long straight hair understand” and realized most revolve around one issue: lack of volume and body. Oh, how I wish just once to have bouncy locks that frame my face instead of clinging to my scalp in the most limp and lifeless fashion.
When Irresistible Me contacted me and offered to try out their hair extensions, I hesitated. Most girls use extensions for length, which I have quite enough, thank you very much. But the prospect of tripling the volume was too tempting, so I got their biggest and fattest Silky Touch set (24 inches, 200 g in Chocolate Brown). To say I was blown away by the difference in my hair is an understatement. I’ve never had such volume and thickness. I should mention I only used half of the clips for the hairstyles because it was more than enough, but I tried to wear all of them for a before and after shot. See for yourself below. I didn’t pull the braids apart or backcomb the ponytail.

Messy Fishtail Braids
I don’t remember where I learnt to do this braid, but here is a nice tutorial, or you could always find one on Pinterest. It’s fairly simple, the trick is to get equal sections at the start, otherwise, the braids will turn out wonky (you can see mine kinda are).
Ponytail
This is my favourite ponytail video on youtube – works with or without extensions.
Do you use hair extensions? What is your biggest hair problem?
