I’ve been planning this post for so long, I tried many new products that became my favourites. So I guess it’s a win in the end?
Maybelline’s Instant Age Rewind is the best affordable highlighting concealer on the market. Got mine in Spain, so the packaging might look different. I wear this concealer in every photo you see here and if I’m doing any kind of makeup that day, I’m probably using it under the eyes, on the forehead and chin. It has great coverage and doesn’t cake or exaggerate my dry skin.
NYX Mosaic Powder in the shade Paradise is soft and very pigmented, use a light hand or avoid the darker part if you’re not going for a dramatic look.
Two eye products I’m loving: NYX Wonder Pencil for brightening the waterline (it looks more natural than stark white) and Maybelline Master Drama (that I could only find on the Spanish website here) for highlighting the inner corner.
I’ve been a fan of Benefit Gimme Brow formula for a long time, but the ridiculously tiny brush is just too much of a hassle. L’Oreal’s Brow Plumper has the perfect brush and gives as much colour and volume. Plus, it’s that much cheaper! H&M Brow Specialist and NYX Micro brow pencil are also great affordable options.
I bought my first Maybelline ColorSensational lipstick years ago, and I’ve been expanding my collection ever since. The colour selection is impressive, the formula is excellent and the price is irresistible. Here’s me wearing Velvet Beige.
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream is a newer find for me and the first affordable matte liquid lipstick I loved. It’s pigmented, it’s not drying and it wears beautifully. I’m wearing it in Cannes below. The other colour is called Copenhagen, you can see me wear it it here.
H&M nail polishes turned out to be frighteningly addictive. The selection is incredible, they are long-lasting and they are always on 2+1 offer! This is… not my whole collection. I’m wearing Bordeux and Mauve It below.
