I had a bit of a Monty Python marathon on Sunday and dreamt the silliest scenarios all night. I was shooting an outfit video in one of them, but it was inspired by The Ministry of Silly Walks sketch, so I was alternating between demonstrating my best silly walk and making a bunch of leggy models do the same. I am now seriously considering the idea.
Although I still haven’t employed the failed photos editorial, where every shot is almost perfect, but the model is caught mid-blink or sneezing. That could be fun. Maybe even more fun than sleeping in the forest or running from a killer in your jammies, both of which started as a silly idea. There’s definitely a lesson and a 1000 word post somewhere in here, but I had this silly idea to watch Monty Python instead of writing this post, so here we are. A double-edged sword, eh?
Anyway, here’s one of those effortless outfits that look put-together because of little details like ruffles or a ribbon tied as a choker. These ruffles move with every step and it is delightful.
